WHAT ARE INVOTEC MOULD CURTAINS?
Invotec Mould Curtains are crystal clear, flexible safety shields that attach magnetically to the injection moulding tool. Their purpose is simple: to control the unpredictable movement of ejected moulded parts. Without containment, lightweight components can escape the mould area, leading to product loss, contamination, and unnecessary machine downtime.
Escaped parts often fall to the floor or become trapped in gate runners, door switches, or safety interlocks. This can halt production until the obstruction is removed. In highly regulated environments—such as medical moulding—any scrap or contamination risk may require a full production restart. Using Mould Curtains (and, ideally, Mould Chutes) delivers rapid payback by preventing these costly interruptions.
