Tie Bar Covers

Moulders use Tie Bar Covers to protect their mouldings from unwanted contamination from contact with tie bar grease.

For example these covers help prevent costly tie bar damage from loose tooling or something as simple as in-mould labels getting into the bushings causing premature wear. IPS offers covers which are made of tough, oil resistant polyester material with plastic zippers.

Tie Bar covers are mounted to the mould using magnet sets and use industrial strength zippers to secure the covers over the tie bars.
