For more than 25 years static SMX mixers have been successfully used for mixing and/or dispersing of viscous fluids. They mix efficiently liquids of equal and/or very different viscosity to the degree of homogeneity as required by the specific application.
 
Usually the SMX mixing elements are welded to one or two rods which is/are inserted into a pipe and fixed. This assures a correct orientation of neighbouring elements and simplifies the mixer assembling and disassembling.

Dimensioning is adjusted to customer needs as well as to flow, viscosity and pressure drop conditions.
